Kinko Bay is a treasure trove of Kagoshima’s seafood with Sakurajima lying right in the middle of the bay. Sangen is located in Tenmonkan, the largest shopping district in the southern Kyushu region, near Kinko Bay.
Everyday in Kagoshima, a treasure trove of seafood, Sangen chooses each ingredient carefully to provide the most delicious sushi that will bring out the full flavor of the dishes. We prepare dishes that brings out the best of Kagoshima’s seasonal ingredients utilizing our long experience and technique.
We also have a rich variety of shochu, sake and wine to enjoy together with our Edomae-sushi (a type of sushi called nigiri, a small ball of rice topped with raw fish which was created in Edo, present Tokyo).
